China Jiangsu International Economic Technical Cooperation Corporation

China Jiangsu International Economic Technical Cooperation Corporation (CJI) was founded with the approval of the State Council of the PRC in December 1980. CJI was established as a state owned  international conglomerate working in the fields of foreign trade and economic cooperation.

The government has granted CJI with the following rights, certificates and licenses:

·        Right to contract international engineering projects and provide labor services.

·        Import and export license.

·        Class A certification from the Ministry of Commerce which enables CJI to execute the projects of complete plant including materials, which are aided by the Chinese government to foreign countries.

·        1^st class certification approved by the Ministry of Construction which allows CJI to act as a main contractor to undertake the construction and decoration of various types of buildings.

CJI has achieved four professional 1^st class qualifications for:

·        decoration projects;

·        the installation of mechanical and electronic equipment;

·        steel structure projects;

·        the building of intelligent systems

·        foundation projects & curtain wall

CJI has achieved 2^nd class qualifications which allow it to work as a main contractor for public projects and professional contracting for fire protection facilities.

CJI has achieved four 1^st class certificates which allow it to act as:

1.      A tendering agent for projects invested by the national central government;

2.      An international tendering agent for the purchase of mechanical and electrical products for the Chinese government;

3.      A tendering agent for national central government procurement;

4.      A tendering agent for engineering contract projects.

CJI has successfully passed the Trinity Management System re-certification each year, a process which includes the following certificates:

·        ISO9001: Quality Management Systems

·        ISO 14001: Environmental Management Systems

·        GB/T28001: Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

CJI has continuously insisted on the implementation of the “Going Abroad” strategy and energetically developing international economic and technical cooperation around the world. CJI strives to promote international, diversified and market-oriented operations and has formed a business portfolio structure that includes:

CJI has already set up more than 30 overseas offices, branches and subsidiaries for developing business in nearly 80 countries and areas around the world.

Over the past 30 years, CJI has undertaken more than 2000 projects for contracting and labor services, surpassing a value of more than 6 billion US dollars. CJI has sent more than 100,000 personnel abroad, simultaneously leading several hundred national enterprises to enter the international market. Up to now CJI has exported general commodities, mechanical and electrical equipment and materials exports, exceeding a total volume of 3 billion US dollars.

CJI currently occupies the top position among all international companies at the provincial level that are involved in overseas engineering contracting and is in a leading position at the national level for international labor services. In the international trade sector, CJI is in the top 200 national companies for export volume and in the top 500 national companies for import and export volume.

In order to encourage provincial engineering contracting, optimize resource allocation and achieve complementary advantage and accelerate larger and stronger processes, the Jiangsu Provincial government merged and restructured CJI with China Jiangsu Construction Group Corporation and Jiangsu Complete Equipment Co. Ltd in 2008 and with Jiangsu JianDa Construction Company, Incorporated in 2009 respectively.

CJI has been accredited by the American Engineering News Record (ENR) as one of the largest 225 international contractors in the world for the last 16 years consecutively.
